At this this year's FMX - Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia on April 25th, Daniel Schwarz from takomat will speak about the topic of Emotional Responsive Design for Educative Games.[more]

CONFERENCE | PARADIGM SHIFT | GAMES FOR CHANGE EUROPE at FMX in Stuttgart will provide you with a series of lectures, given by several cutting edge developers such as takomat and Ubisoft. Topics will be the potentials and challenges for pioneers and innovators in future design of Good Game.

FMX Conference takes place in Stuttgart at the "Haus der Wirtschaft", Willi-Bleicher-Street 19, from April 23rd to April 26th. Daniel Schwarz from takomat will give his lecture on April 25th at 17:00. Location will be Bertha-Benz-Saal in the "Haus der Wirtschaft".

On April, 8th 2013, the official Kickoff of the Games For Change Europe initiative will take place at the Cologne Game Lab.

Guido Doublet, Co-CEO of takomat, will take his keynote speech about the topic "Learning Game Design: From educative games to games for change." at 10.15.

The G4C Europe Initiative is realized in partnership with the Cologne Game Lab of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, FMX – International Conference on Animation, Visual Effects, Games and Transmédia -, Institute of Animation at Filmakademie Baden Württemberg, Autodesk, ENJMIN, CNAM, Ubisoft, Academia(par Ubisoft), Cap Digital and Futur en Seine.

ARSCOPE Project - Enter 6: Biopolis

During ARSCOPE-Project, taking place in Prague in April 2013, Daniel Schwarz will talk about "Cybernetic learning organisms for 21st century skills" at Enter 6: Biopolis Biennale . [more]

This time´s local host CIANT - International Centre for Art and New Technologies, and other invited guest artists from the interdisciplinary field of arts, science and technology, will give the audience insights into recent work.

At Enter 6 in Prague, takomat will proudly feature Berlin-based artist Markus Kison with his interactive Installation pulse...

During the symposium (April 5th.) Daniel Schwarz deals with takomat's recent visions for Good Games in the context of Design, Research & Development.

Since november 2011, the ARSCOPE-Projekt works with an interdisciplinary team of European artists from Cologne, Prague and Ljubliana at the intersection of Arts, Sciences and Technology with the topics media arts, media techniques and Brain-, Learning- and Bio-Sciences.

Project partner are the International Centre for Art and New Technologies in Prague (CIANT), the Institute for Contemporary Arts in Ljubliana  (AKSIOMA)  and takomat in Cologne.

From December 18th. - 20th. takomat hosted an ARSCOPE workshop and public event (December, 20th.) in Cologne at the Academy for media Arts Cologne (Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (KHM)).

The project is funded by the EACEA (The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) from November 2011 until April 2013.
